Sean McLean brings more than 15 years of search and leadership experience
Toronto–May 9, 2013 – Retained executive search firm The Caldwell Partners International Inc. (TSX: CWL) today announced a major enhancement to its recruiting capabilities, particularly in the oil and gas industry, with the addition of Sean McLean as a Partner in the firm’s Calgary office.

Mr. McLean has successfully executed more than 200 searches, garnering praise for his ability to match the right candidate’s style, experience and competencies to the specifications of the role and the client’s culture.

Mr. McLean joins Caldwell Partners from Conroy Ross Partners Ltd, where he led the Executive Search Practice in Calgary, Edmonton and Regina. Before joining the executive search industry, he enjoyed a nine-year career as an award-winning educator, international consultant and senior executive in the non-profit and professional services sectors.
Mr. McLean holds a master’s in educational technology, and earned a bachelor of science from Saint Francis Xavier University, where he was an Academic All-Canadian member of the 1993 CIS National Champion Basketball Team. A third-generation Calgarian, he is active in the community as an independent school board member, Junior Achievement volunteer, United Way Leadership Giving participant and former board member of Calgary Science School, Calgary Learning Centre and Basketball Alberta.
