Victoria Hyde is partner of Caldwell’s Financial Services Practice, based in the firm’s Mexico City office. Her financial services experience ranges from serving top banks to small family oﬃces. She has a special expertise in alternative investments, including funds, venture capital, and both portfolio companies and investors for private equity funds, as well as having built teams from scratch in diﬀerent geographies. Victoria is able to tap her global knowledge and broad talent network to serve client needs. Victoria is dedicated to supporting the career paths of her candidates, whom she views as future clients.
Prior to joining Caldwell in 2015, Victoria gained extensive experience with CTPartners and Heidrick and Struggles in Mexico. Victoria started her career in search in London at in a boutique firm called Private Equity Recruitment, where she worked on mandates covering Asia, Europe, Latin America, and Mexico, as well as founding the oﬃce in Mexico.
Victoria began her career in leading global advertising agencies, McCann and JWT, working as a strategic planner. She also worked as a brand manager in licensing, creating businesses and assuring proper brand positioning. Some accomplishments were launching Sky team in Latin America, “Nike, just do it” for women in Mexico, as well as successfully positioning DreamWorks in Mexico.
Victoria holds a BA in graphic design from the Istituto Europeo di Design from Madrid; an MA in interdisciplinary studies, with dual majors in business and psychology and a minor in psychology of aging from Kendall College, Chicago, where she graduated magna cum laude and on the dean’s list. Victoria is bilingual in Spanish and English and speaks basic French.
