Natalie Stones is a consultant with Caldwell, representing one of New Zealand’s leading global search firms focussed on executive search and leadership advisory services for clients throughout Asia Pacific.
With 14 years in executive recruitment in New Zealand, following her emigrating from the United Kingdom, Natalie works closely with clients and candidates and is responsible for bringing search assignments to a successful conclusion through the development and deployment of targeted search strategies, as well as international and domestic research and due diligence on C-suite and GM level executives. She also assists the firm with business development, marketing and social media initiatives.
Previously, Natalie leveraged her extensive local and international experience as lead engagement manager with Heidrick & Struggles and CTPartners between 2007 and 2015, and three years with a boutique search firm, to facilitate the delivery of key milestones in assignment execution.
Specialising in multiple sectors, she has led numerous global and domestic high profile CEO/board and C-suite searches for both publicly-listed (NZX/ASX) and privately-held organisations, particularly for businesses facing disruption and focussed on transformation and the improvement of commercial outcomes. Her experience has principally centred on key industry sectors including consumer, retail & eCommerce, industrial, agribusiness, technology, media & telecommunications, tourism and aviation. Her functional expertise includes CEO/Board, CCO, CSO, CMO, COO, CTO and CHRO.
Prior to her career in executive search and leadership advisory, Natalie worked for Boots the Chemists (United Kingdom) within facilities management and logistics, and at Auckland University of Technology in the law and economics faculties.
Natalie holds a Bachelor of Business from the University of Northumbria (United Kingdom) and a Master of Business from Auckland University of Technology.
