Elan Pratzer is Managing Partner, Canada and a member of Caldwell Partners Financial Services Practice. With over 30 years of business experience and 26 years spent in executive search, Elan is a trusted advisor to many of Canada’s leading business executives and board members.

Prior to joining Caldwell Partners, Elan was the founder and CEO of Executive Risk Group Ltd., a provider of risk management solutions for directors, officers and trustees. He was previously the managing director of Rose Private Equity – a private, Canadian-based merchant bank.

Elan’s executive search career began when he was 19 and included managing what became Egon Zhender’s Toronto office, building his own firm (Pratzer & Partners) through organic growth and acquisition to include offices in Toronto, Chicago and New York, and ultimately selling his firm to Korn/Ferry in 2000 wherein he became the Managing Director, Canada responsible for offices in Montreal, Toronto, Calgary and Vancouver.

Elan earned a Bachelor of Commerce from McGill University and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Toronto.
