Arthur Vasconcellos is a partner in the São Paolo office, and a member of the firm’s Industrial and Professional Services practices. Arthur serves major multinational, regional, and domestic organizations with operations in Brazil, and has completed assignments for senior executives, including regional CEOs, local CEOs, CFOs, partners for professional service firms, and board members.
Prior to joining Caldwell, Arthur was a partner in the Industrial & Professional Services practices at CTPartners. Previously, he was a partner with Southmark, a regional executive search firm serving clients with interests in South America, and where he conducted general management assignments for companies in a variety of industries.
Before launching his career in executive search, Arthur spent 17 years with Alcan Aluminum of Brazil in a range of management roles, culminating as the general manager of the refrigeration components business unit. He joined CSN, Brazil’s national iron and steel company, as director of the tin plate business unit, and was later promoted to president of the laminated steel subsidiary. During his tenure with Alcoa Aluminum, he gained broad regional executive experience, serving as general manager–Argentina and Chile for the subsidiary Feroscar, and as international general manager of extrusions Latin America.
After a distinguished executive career, Arthur provided strategic development consultation to aluminum companies as a partner with Elenkko Enterprise Assessoria. Then, he was CEO of the American Chamber of Commerce –Amcham de São Paulo Brazil, strengthening international relationships with premier industrial organizations.
A graduate engineer and BA of Brazil’s Mackenzie University, Arthur also holds an MBA from Harvard Business School.
